SFS assists clients to achieve print modeling and acting contracts while breaking into the entertainment industry. We administer and package the necessary photographs to legitimate managers and agents.

DESCRIPTION

Shooting Future Stars has a Conference & Special Events internship position available.

The internship requires an ability to build prospect list, call local businesses, schedule appointments,

attend some conferences and assist on special projects as necessary. The intern will get hands on

mentoring and experience in event planning, marketing and engaging. This would be an ideal

position for a student with an interest in nonprofit management or event planning.

Time frame: April - August 2014, up to 10 hours some weeks based on the events.

REQUIREMENTS

* Hours vary (some weekdays and some weekends)

* Interpersonal communications skills

* Event Logistics experience

* Ability to motivate and inspire individuals over the phone and in person

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously

* Proficiency in MS Office

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

* This is an unpaid internship position (with possible pay)
